It's a Girl!!

I'm not going to even apologise this week for being a bad blogger, just sooooo busy, with no time to craft and boy, do I need craft time at the mo!!! Am exhausted!! Long days again!!
Well me being my organised self, had a couple of baby boy images coloured up as I have so many friends and colleagues expecting at the moment and what happens, they have a girl!! I had convinced myself that the first one would be a boy!! So a girl card it is, sorry but got a bit carried away with this one. This card fits in with the pink and grey theme over at Cute Card Thursday and the what's new theme at Crafty Cardmakers this week.

Above show the front of the card and below is the inside of the card.

I have used the Popcorn birthday cuddles stamp and adapted it to suit a baby card as I just adore this image.
I have coloured with Copics and Spica Glitter pens
Nestabilities label one
Nestabilities tag label
Embroidered paper and Bazill basic card from Stamps and Memories
Ribbon and pearls from stash
Hope you like her!!
Back soon
Hugs Jo x
PS. Would someone please tell me the secret of making at least 3 cards in one evening!! This one card took me 2 evenings!!!

  1. Hello stranger, thought you did a runner...lol
The card's adorable...sad you made the wrong colour first, but hey it should come in handy in the future.
Love the embroidered paper on this...such a great choice for the theme. And I do love the ted...I do have a few of these, I don't use them enough though as I think them a bit big...I hate using load's of copic ink....as I don't know how long they will last.

I did once scan and shrink one of these images...and it came out well, my friend is starting a DT with a Teddy challenge, I think I will do that again so I can enter the new challenge...

Who makes 3 card's in one evening,,,not me I tell you....I can just about manage a couple a week....and I am home all day...

    come back soon...

Popcorn bear is such a cutie to work with I've got loads of christmas ones but would like some others, but I always want more stamps!

  6. Hi Jo, This is such a swet card. I love it. Looks great in pink and grey. The secret is to spend some evening colouring images so that you only have to make the card and not colour as well, oh, and work part time too so you start during the afternoon. I don;t know how some people fit in so many DTs and blog. Hugs Marianne x

  10. Such a sweet card Jo and well made. I cant make 3 in an evening either, well I can when pushed but they tend to be similar using same papers etc otherwise you just spend time paper shuffling trying to decide what you want to use!

Thank You for joining us at Crafty Cardmakers x
