And another!!!

Back again and really struggling!! I am trying to follow sketches but I am having problems when they have more than one layer!! I seem to have lost my colour co-ordination, not good. I am OK if they are nice and simple but some of them have got so complicated that I am avoiding them. I suppose it is because I like my cards to be straight and even etc. The thought of tearing and distressing petrifies me, so that is definetely a no go area, I may be brave one day!! Todays card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which is a sketch and the Creative Card Crew which is Happy Birthday.

I have used this gorgeous stamp from the Whiff of Joy Spring Collection, she is a treat to colour!
I have used Copic Ciao and Sketch and Spica Clear Glitter Pens
DP is from the Basic Grey Eurphoria Pad again, I love these papers
Nestibilities Labels
Martha Stewart Daisy and around the edge punches
Sentiment and Sparkle dots are Papermania
Card and ribbon from Stash

Hope you like it!!

  1. Hi Jo, you are definitley in pink mode. I bought these papers at Ally Pally and they are gorgeouse. Love both your latest cards, you are on a roll. Fab images. Personally I love lots of layers and once you try tearing it is not as scary as you think, honest. It is good to come of your comfort zone occasionally. Good to hear you are planning to join us at WW this week. LOts of goodies up for grabs. Marianne x

  2. I don't go for sketches with lots of layers either as I don't like covering pretty papers up too much. As with distressing I found once I got the Tim Holtz Distressing tool and used with the TH inks, I found I could add as little or as much as I wanted, now I enjoy some distressing around my images and papers, but I definately don't like tearing, same as you I like things straight and neat.
This WOJ image is coloured beautifully and I love your papers and great design.
    Happy crafting
